From the very beginning, Kaplan was very help, courteous and patient. Having recently retired from govt service, the covid lockdown made me concentrate on what I have wanted to do for several years. Kaplan assisted, directed and encouraged me in my drive to attain a real estate license. The staff and instructors are top in their field in my humble opinion. I highly recommend Kaplan in real estate education and preparations for the required exams. The staff is upbeat and makes you feel like you are the most important client to them.
I am happy to say I passed both my National and State on first try! 92% on State and 91% on National!! I took the On demand package and went at my own pace. I was able to finish the course in a month. I did a lot of practice exam and I highly recommend the Exam prep for both National and state. The instructors where very straight forward and helpful. I will definitely recommend Kaplan.
Tried to call multiple times, no one answered. The Docusign contract stated $489 for the course, but the website stated $449. After reading the rest of the one star reviews, now I know why. I would stay away from this company, the idea of the online framework is the way to go, but this company is severely incompetent..........obviously.
UPDATE:
This is really interesting. The company replied to my post here in 3 days. However, I had sent an email requesting information from the company a few days before my review here and I have not received a response yet. Even though you may read the response here in the post and say, "Oh at least their trying to resolve the issue", this would be inaccurate because there appears to be no effort being made to improve processes, just putting out fires, like bad reviews.
They take a very long time to schedule a test for you. About 2 weeks from the time you finish the course if you are lucky. They don't reply to emails and take a long time to answer the phone. The course materials are fine and relevant, but you still need to study hard.
The instructor was great, though there were a few times where the questions at the end of the Unit were related to other Units.
But I still feel that I learned a lot.
It's pretty hard for me to learn with a computer instead of a teacher. Perhaps if the lectures could be accessed after they were given, that might help.
while studying, I took many "Practice Exams" offered on the site.
The questions were the same on each exam. Most about disclosure and specific performance (which were not on the test). I was hoping for a wider variety since there are almost 2000 questions offered.
I felt like Kaplan did a lot for me, but not enough.
Tests are designed to discriminate and the legalese is ridiculous.
So many nondiscriminatory practices with a very discriminating test...
I understand the test isn't Kaplan's fault- but I failed regardless and got every question correct on the study guide.
The practice exams (QBank) were phenominal, with progress tracking, exam simulation in chosen subjects, etc. Thanks to Kaplan I passed the exam my first try.
Kaplan was an enjoyment to do all my Real estate studies with online videos and questions to answer you comprehend more you learn more and
In the study class online with instructors where you interact with other students via chat was awesome and you get the notes the next day.
I liked being able to work at my own rate with the online classes. I was very frustrated with the live online class. I realize that in this ever changing time of covid-19 it is hard to take a live class and put it online successfully. I found that the instructors would give information and then have long pauses of silence. At first I thought my sound had gone out. Then I thought the instructor was lost, then I figured out they were wasting time to stretch out the class to fill the time requirements since there was no back and forth interaction as there would be in a live class. I found this very annoying and my mind would drift.....and then have to refocus. I did my nails, I straightened my dest over and over. The information a good and I passed my test State and National exams with flying colors so it worked! Just my thoughts on the class. Thank you!
it was a great program and it's affordable. The reading/booklets are awesome and interesting. Thank you
